Heritage Research produces all of their garments in England, using the finest selected fabrics. Each design represents a classic design or piece re-invented for a modern silhouette. The materials used are sourced from the UK, Japan and the US from Melton, British Millerain and Pendleton Woolen Mills. The same meticulous attention to detail is shown through to the features such as the RiRi zip fastenings and leather bindings giving a range that is durable and distinguished.
Heritage Research remakes age old classics like bomber jackets, farming jackets and chinos pants or carpenter shirts. These functional and structured pieces of clothing are given a contemporary look with modern production methods and fabrics. Heritage Research clothing is hand crafted in England using high end Japanese and British fabrics. These classic tailoring techniques result in high quality clothing.

They are heavily influenced by classic styles from France, World War II uniforms, farming work wear clothing. Fabrics like linen, wool and cotton are used for the durability and richness offered by each timeless piece. Their main aim is reproduce these classic designs and add contemporary twists and details to bring them into the modern market.
With this balance between classic styles and modern design they create styles such as their Fixer Jeans inspired by 1940’s work wear pants. Using 12 oz of right-hand twill selvedge Japanese denim they breathe new life into these 40’s jeans. The selvedge seam is visible on the large scooped rear pockets and the entire jean has hemp stitching. The donut buttons and rivets are crafted out of oxidized nickel.
