About the Brand: The Fred Perry activewear brand began when, towards the end of the forties, British Tennis superstar Mr. Fred Perry was approached by ex-Austrain footballer Tibby Wegner. Wegner had formulated a business intellect after departing from profressional sports. He had produced a newfangled type of sweatband, one that was a great deal lighter and very much more versatile than all the others available at the time.
